Quite a few people have asked me why i chose fading-eclipse...Ummm, wait, no, no they haven't.
But if they did, I would totally tell them this.
As an answer to this question I would like to provide the definitions given by dictionary.com...
- The first is the definition of fading: In the context of this site, fading is defined as to 'disappear gradually'...
- The next is eclipse: defined as 'the partial or complete obscuring, relative to a designated observer, of one celestial body by another...'
When I came up with the idea of this site, I was attempting to poetically define a shadow, or a veil (maybe?) I was like 18, sooo ... yeah.
- Anyway, it involves an object being lifted or being slowly removed from the obstruction of what I would describe as light or an object too bright to make out...
- The actual line of thought behind this is: let's say we are spiritually in an eclipsed state. We have this object blocking our contact with 'God.' That was the thought process behind the site name. In other words, the act of that object being removed.
